Xiaomi is hosting a new event on June 13 in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch its new Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6 at the June 13 launch event. Alongside, there will be a new pair of Redmi truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds called the Buds 4 Active. Xiaomi recently launched the new Redmi earbuds in global markets. The Buds 4 Active will likely be budget TWS earbuds in India.
Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has revealed some key details about the Buds 4 Active. Let's take a look at the Redmi Buds 4 Active specifications, features and other details.
The Redmi Buds 4 Active will launch as new budget TWS earbuds in India. The earbuds will debut alongside the Xiaomi Pad 6 on June 13. Xiaomi has teased the design of the TWS earbuds while revealing some key details.
The earbuds will sport a tall stem and feature silicone ear tips for better grip and passive noise cancellation. The earbuds are also claimed to feature "Pro drivers" for the bass and offer "ultra battery life". Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi Buds 4 Active is also confirmed to feature support for Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and Google Fast Pair.
The earbuds will launch in India in two colour options — White and Black. The charging case will match the colour of the earbuds. The oval-shaped case has the charging indicator next to the USB Type-C port at the bottom.
Since the earbuds have already been unveiled globally, we already know the specs and features. The Buds 4 Active features 12mm dynamic drivers and supports SBC codec. Unlike the Buds 4, the Buds 4 Active does not offer support for noise cancellation, normal and transparent modes. It instead only gets environment noise cancellation and the normal mode.
Each earbud weighs about 3.65 grams, which is quite lightweight. The earbuds each pack a 34mAh battery and are claimed to offer up to five hours’ worth of battery life on a single charge. The charging case packs a 440mAh battery and weighs about 34.7 grams. Xiaomi, while unveiling the earbuds globally, claimed that the Buds 4 Active will offer up to 28 hours of battery life with the charging case. The earbuds are also claimed to offer up to two hours of battery life with a 10-minute charge.
Other features include an IPX4 rating for basic water resistance, support for Google Fast Pair, touch controls for playback, answering calls; and a low latency mode while playing games.
