Now's your big chance to take advantage of post-Prime Day deals and save big on consoles, games and accessories.
Amazon's October Prime Day event is over, but you can still score huge deals and level up or expand your gaming setup in the process. Gaming can be expensive and taxing on the wallet, but Amazon still has many discounts on games, accessories and consoles, which could help you score the perfect gaming holiday gift. This includes the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox. But don't put all your eggs into one basket, because Amazon isn't the only player in town offering great deals on gaming: Best Buy and Walmart have great ongoing deals, too.
No matter your genre or gaming platform of choice, there are big savings to be had.
Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.
Below you'll find all the best post-Prime Day gaming deals. But you'll need to act fast, as these deals are limited-time offers and likely to sell out. Also, note that the prices on games listed below are often for the physical (disc) versions of the game, so they'll require a PS5 or Xbox with a disc drive to use. But before you scroll down, further level up your gaming experience by checking out deals on headphones and laptops.
Here's a rare chance to score a direct discount on the PS5, with the digital-only console dropping to just $400 -- a $50 savings. We've seen this dropping in and out of stock at Amazon, so make sure you're not looking at a used model. Or nab it at Best Buy. You can also save on the disc drive version and an NBA 2K25 bundle.
The Nintendo Switch OLED is the best Switch model out right now, and you can enjoy it with $50 off thanks to this discount on Woot. Just note that only the neon red and blue variant is available.
A Nintendo Switch standard (non-OLED) system normally costs $300 by itself, but this anti-Prime deal at Best Buy includes a digital copy of essential racing game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (worth $60) as well as a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership ($20), saving you (ahem) a bundle.

Amazon's October Prime Day event, which it calls Prime Big Deal Days, started on Oct. 8 and ended Oct. 9. That doesn't mean that deals have completely stopped after those two days, but that was the window where the greatest volume of discounts were available. We're staying vigilant and continuing to round up the best lingering offers on products like video games, consoles, controllers and more.
There are quite a few Prime Day gaming deals available across Amazon, but you will need a Prime membership to access a lot of the best discounts. Not every deal requires a Prime membership, but the best way to know for sure is to browse and look for the "Prime Exclusive Deal" button on the page. If you do not see that button, a Prime membership is not required for that discount.
Yes, some of the best deals on games, console accessories and sometimes the consoles themselves happen during the Prime Day event and in the days before and after. Many of these items are at their all-time lowest prices and could go quickly. If you see a deal you're considering, we recommend grabbing it before stock vanishes or time runs out.
Many of us here at CNET have covered shopping events for several years, including Black Friday, Prime Day, Memorial Day and countless other sales. In that time, we've learned how to spot the best deals among a sea of thousands of superficial offers and scams, and we only surface the best offers from trusted retailers. We look for real discounts, quality reviews and remaining sale time when choosing video game deals to show you.
